This RecipeFrame Plus Frequently Asked Questions page collects the common questions about this plugin. The short answers below match the way the plugin works on your WordPress site today.
RecipeFrame Plus Frequently Asked Questions
Read the questions in order. They cover what the plugin requires, what stays on your site, and where to ask for help. If your question is not listed, use this plugin’s WordPress.org support forum. There is no separate support site. You can also use the contact form. Name the plugin and the screen you are on.
These answers do not change the GPL license in the plugin license.txt file, and they do not replace the company terms for accounts and checkout at https://grandslambert.com/terms-of-use/. Privacy details stay on the Privacy Policy page for this plugin. This RecipeFrame Plus Frequently Asked Questions page is the short form of that same behavior. It does not add a feature the plugin does not already have. If a step on the Help page disagrees with an answer here, follow the Help page and ask through the contact form.
Does the cart work for guests?
Yes. Guests get a cart cookie. Logging in merges the guest cart into the user cart. The saved-recipe box is for logged-in visitors. Shopping lists and saved recipes stay in your WordPress database. Recipe content is not sent to GrandSlambert.
Does RecipeFrame Plus activate itself?
No. Get Plus in RecipeFrame downloads the add-on and then asks you to activate it. Downloading Plus does not activate it. You activate the plugin yourself in WordPress. Cart, grocery list, and saved-recipe features stay off without an active license.
Does this contact Spoonacular or Edamam?
No. Cart data stays on your site. License activation and update checks contact the GrandSlambert license server with the license key, site URL, and a site instance ID. Those checks do not include the cart, the grocery list, or saved recipes. Spoonacular and Edamam remain optional tools inside RecipeFrame, and visitors do not trigger them.
Where do I put the cart?
Create a page with [gs_rfp_cart] and select it under Recipes → Plus. Add to cart, shopping list, and save widgets go on recipe templates. The guest cookie and the account cart are both stored for your site. They are not a checkout on grandslambert.com.
Where can I get help?
Questions can be asked on this plugin’s WordPress.org support forum. There is no separate support site. You can also use the contact form.
