Better RSS Widget Terms of Use
Better RSS Widget is free software licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. A copy is in the plugin’s license.txt and at https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html. These terms do not remove those GPL rights. You may use, study, share, and change the plugin under that license.
No Plus license
Better RSS Widget does not have a paid Plus add-on, a site limit, or a license key. You do not activate a commercial key to use the widget, the shortcode, or the RSS List and RSS Grid widgets. Installing the plugin from WordPress.org, or from a copy you already have, is enough. There is no separate download step that sends a key to GrandSlambert.
Feeds you choose
You choose each feed URL. Your use of a feed is also covered by that publisher’s terms. The plugin requests the address you enter and displays the items the feed returns. It does not grant you rights to republish feed content beyond what that publisher and the law allow. You are responsible for the feeds you embed and for the intro text you add.
The shortcode attributes use_title and use_tags add the current post title or tag names to the feed URL. Use them only when sending those words to the feed host is acceptable for that page.
Donate link
A donate link on the settings screen opens the Better RSS Widget page. A donation is optional and is processed by Stripe under Stripe’s terms. Better RSS Widget does not collect card numbers. A donation does not buy a license key, a site activation, or a different edition of the plugin.
Acceptable use
Do not use the plugin to break the law or to interfere with feed publishers or other sites. Do not present the plugin as a way to bypass a feed’s access limits. The cache exists to avoid asking the same feed on every page view, and you can lengthen it.
Warranty
The plugin is provided as-is, without warranty, as the GPL states. Feeds can be slow, empty, or discontinued. To the extent the law allows, GrandSlambert is not liable for lost content, lost profits, or other indirect damages from the plugin or from a feed it displays.
