EventFrame Plus Frequently Asked Questions

This EventFrame Plus Frequently Asked Questions page collects the common questions about this plugin. The short answers below match the way the plugin works on your WordPress site today.

EventFrame Plus Frequently Asked Questions

Read the questions in order. They cover what the plugin requires, what stays on your site, and where to ask for help. If your question is not listed, use this plugin’s WordPress.org support forum. There is no separate support site. You can also use the contact form. Name the plugin and the screen you are on.

These answers do not change the GPL license in the plugin license.txt file, and they do not replace the company terms for accounts and checkout at https://grandslambert.com/terms-of-use/. Privacy details stay on the Privacy Policy page for this plugin. This EventFrame Plus Frequently Asked Questions page is the short form of that same behavior. It does not add a feature the plugin does not already have. If a step on the Help page disagrees with an answer here, follow the Help page and ask through the contact form.

Does the waitlist work for guests?

Yes, when EventFrame allows guest RSVPs. Otherwise visitors must log in. A guest entry stores a name and email address on your site. Logged-in waitlist entries use the WordPress user. That entry is not sent to GrandSlambert.

Does EventFrame Plus contact an outside service?

Event box and waitlist data stay on your site. iCal files are generated on your site for download. The host CSV export of RSVPs and waitlists is also created on your site. License activation and update checks send the license key, site URL, and a site instance ID to the GrandSlambert license server. Free EventFrame RSVPs are not sent with these checks.

Does EventFrame download Plus?

No. Install EventFrame Plus yourself and enter the key under Events → Settings → Plus. Saved events, waitlist, iCal, and host CSV stay off without an active license. Free RSVP and My Events are not license-gated. The product page lists one site, 10 sites, or unlimited, annual or lifetime.
