MovieFrame Plus Privacy Policy

Effective October 20, 2026. This MovieFrame Plus Privacy Policy covers the MovieFrame Plus plugin on your WordPress site. It requires MovieFrame. The policy for grandslambert.com accounts and checkout is at https://grandslambert.com/privacy-policy/. Use the company policy for purchases and accounts. Use this page for what the plugin stores and sends on your own WordPress site.

MovieFrame Plus Privacy Policy

Keep the two policies separate while you read. The company page describes grandslambert.com accounts and checkout. This MovieFrame Plus Privacy Policy describes the copy of the plugin on your WordPress site. A person browsing your public pages is not performing an administrator save in the Dashboard, and an administrator save is the action this page talks about when a request leaves the site.

If you need to ask a question about this policy, use the contact form. Do not publish a license key on a public page. If this plugin has no license key, there is nothing to publish. The sections below name what stays in your database and what, if anything, an administrator request can send.

Watch data stays on your site

Watchlists, watched status, and 1 to 10 visitor ratings are stored in your WordPress database. They require a logged-in WordPress user. That data is not sent to GrandSlambert. MovieFrame Plus does not call TMDb or OMDb.

Movie records stay in MovieFrame on your site. Plus stores the watchlist and rating for the logged-in user. Guests cannot use those features. A license check does not include the watchlist, the watched flag, or the rating.

Front-end watchlist and rating features stay off without an active license. TMDb and OMDb remain part of MovieFrame’s administrator import and scheduled refresh. Plus does not add another call to those services.

License checks

After MovieFrame Plus is active, license activation and update checks send the license key, your site URL, and a site instance ID to the GrandSlambert license server. The check identifies the license and the site. It does not upload the content you store for visitors.

Front-end Plus features stay off without an active license. Installing the plugin files is not the same as an active key. You activate the plugin yourself in WordPress, then save the key in the Plus settings. Downloading Plus does not activate it.
