GalleryFrame Plus adds favorites, ratings, client proofing, gallery passwords, and downloads to the free GalleryFrame plugin. Photos stay attachments in the WordPress Media Library. A gallery still stores an ordered list of those attachment IDs. Plus stores the favorite, the score, the selection, and the password on your site.
What GalleryFrame Plus adds
Favorites and ratings require a logged-in WordPress user. A visitor saves a photo, or leaves a score from 1 to 5 stars. Guests see a link to log in. Neither the favorite nor the score is sent to GrandSlambert. The favorites Loop Grid query reads the saved photos from your database, and the My Gallery shortcode does the same.
Client proofing lets a client mark the photos they want. You export those selections as CSV from the gallery edit screen. The file is built from rows already stored on the site. Password protection sits on the gallery. People without the password do not see the photos. The check happens on your server.
Downloads are generated from the Media Library file. A web download can carry a watermark. An optional original download, when you turn it on, is for a logged-in visitor. The file is streamed from your uploads folder. It is not uploaded with a license check.
Shortcodes cover the favorite button, the rating, My Gallery, the gallery password, the proofing bar, and the download button. Elementor widgets use the same set: favorite, rating, password form, proofing bar, and download. Place them on the gallery template GalleryFrame already uses.
License and requirements
GalleryFrame Plus requires WordPress 6.4, PHP 8.1, and the free GalleryFrame plugin. Front-end Plus features stay off without an active license. You activate the plugin, then save the key under GalleryFrame, then Settings, then Plus. License activation and update checks send the license key, your site URL, and a site instance ID. Photos, favorites, ratings, and proofing selections are not included.
