This ContentFrame Frequently Asked Questions page collects the common questions about this plugin. The short answers below match the way the plugin works on your WordPress site today.
ContentFrame Frequently Asked Questions
Read the questions in order. They cover what the plugin requires, what stays on your site, and where to ask for help. If your question is not listed, use this plugin’s WordPress.org support forum. There is no separate support site. You can also use the contact form. Name the plugin and the screen you are on.
These answers do not change the GPL license in the plugin license.txt file, and they do not replace the company terms for accounts and checkout at https://grandslambert.com/terms-of-use/. Privacy details stay on the Privacy Policy page for this plugin. This ContentFrame Frequently Asked Questions page is the short form of that same behavior. It does not add a feature the plugin does not already have. If a step on the Help page disagrees with an answer here, follow the Help page and ask through the contact form.
Does ContentFrame require Elementor?
No. Post types, taxonomies, meta boxes, and image sizes work on their own. Elementor adds the widgets and dynamic tags, including the term grid when Elementor is active. Your content stays in WordPress either way.
Does ContentFrame require ContentFrame Plus?
No. Plus is optional. Get Plus downloads it after you submit a license key, then asks you to activate it. Downloading Plus does not activate it. Term images, taxonomy archives, and thumbnail regeneration need Plus. The free tools do not.
Does ContentFrame send my content anywhere?
No. Nothing is sent until an administrator submits a license key on ContentFrame → Get Plus. That request sends the license key and the product name so the server can return a Plus download. It does not send your content, media, or visitors. After Plus is active, license checks send the license key, site URL, and a site instance ID, not post or term content.
Can I import existing definitions?
Yes. ContentFrame → Tools can import existing WPE Stack Content definitions. The source plugin is left unchanged. The import stays on your site and is not an outside request.
Where can I get help?
Questions can be asked on this plugin’s WordPress.org support forum. There is no separate support site. You can also use the contact form.
