MovieFrame Terms of Use

Effective October 20, 2026. This MovieFrame Terms of Use covers MovieFrame and MovieFrame Plus. The terms for grandslambert.com accounts and checkout are at https://grandslambert.com/terms-of-use/. The privacy policy for this plugin is on the Privacy Policy page under MovieFrame.

MovieFrame Terms of Use

The software

MovieFrame and MovieFrame Plus is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. A copy is in the plugin license.txt file. These terms do not remove those GPL rights. You can run the software, and the GPL still applies to the code, whether or not you buy a key.

These terms explain how GrandSlambert offers the plugin and, where a paid key exists, how that key may be used. They do not replace the GPL text in license.txt. If a sentence here and the GPL ever seem to point in different directions, the GPL still grants the rights it states for the software.

Plus license keys

A Plus purchase is a paid license key for the plan on the MovieFrame Plus product page: the site limit (one site, 10 sites, or unlimited) and the term (annual or lifetime). The key is how you receive Plus updates and turn on Plus features from GrandSlambert. Do not publish a license key or use it on more sites than the plan allows. We may suspend a key that is shared past its plan or used to resell our downloads.

Downloading Plus does not activate it. You activate the plugin yourself in WordPress. An installed but inactive Plus plugin does not turn on Plus features. Enter the key in the Plus settings after the plugin is active. The key is not a card number, and this plugin does not collect card numbers.

MovieFrame Plus requires the free MovieFrame plugin. Front-end watchlist and rating features stay off without an active license. Get Plus downloads the add-on and then asks you to activate it. Watchlists, watched status, and 1 to 10 ratings are for logged-in WordPress users.

Optional services

TMDb and OMDb run when an administrator imports or when MovieFrame refreshes movies that were already imported. Your use of each one is also covered by that service’s terms. API keys you enter belong to your account with that service. MovieFrame is not endorsed or certified by TMDb. Visitors do not start a search.

TMDb requests go to https://api.themoviedb.org/3 with your API key, a language, and the search query or stored id. OMDb requests go to https://www.omdbapi.com/ with your apikey and a title or IMDb id. Poster images may load from TMDb’s image host. People can be imported from TMDb during an administrator import.

Buying a key

Payments on grandslambert.com are processed by Stripe under Stripe’s terms. This plugin does not collect card numbers. The checkout and the customer account stay under the company terms at https://grandslambert.com/terms-of-use/.

Acceptable use

Do not use a license key to break the law, probe our systems without permission, or interfere with other customers. A key is for the sites the plan allows. It is not a tool for reselling GrandSlambert downloads as your own product.

Warranty

The plugins are provided as-is, without warranty, as the GPL states. To the extent the law allows, GrandSlambert is not liable for lost content, lost profits, or other indirect damages from the plugins.

That warranty limit is the same limit already stated for this plugin. It covers lost content, lost profits, and other indirect damages to the extent the law allows. It does not change the GPL rights in license.txt, and it does not move company checkout terms off https://grandslambert.com/terms-of-use/.
