RecipeFrame Plus adds a shopping cart, a grocery list, and a personal recipe box to the free RecipeFrame plugin. Recipes stay in RecipeFrame. Plus stores the cart, the list, and the saved recipe on your site. It is a companion to RecipeFrame, not a replacement, and a license check does not upload the recipes.
What RecipeFrame Plus adds
The shopping cart lets a visitor add a recipe and change the servings before the ingredients are listed. The cart page uses the cart shortcode, and you choose that page under Recipes, then Plus. Add to Cart belongs on the single recipe template, as a widget or as a shortcode. A cart count shortcode can sit in a header.
The grocery list is the cart turned into a shopping list. By default the list is grouped by recipe. A combined view merges matching ingredients so the shopper is not buying the same item twice. The list can be printed from that page. The ingredients come from the recipes already stored on your site.
The recipe box is for logged-in visitors who want to save a recipe and find it later. The save button and the recipe box shortcode read that list. An Elementor Loop Grid can use the saved-recipes query. Guest carts are separate from the box. A guest keeps a cart in a cookie. When they log in, that cart merges into the account cart, so the items are not dropped.
Elementor widgets are Add to Cart, Shopping List, and the Recipe Save Button. Shortcodes match them: add to cart, cart, cart count, and the recipe box. Front-end cart and recipe box tools stay off without an active Plus license.
License and requirements
RecipeFrame Plus requires WordPress 6.4, PHP 8.1, and the free RecipeFrame plugin. You activate Plus, create a page with the cart shortcode, select that page under Recipes, then Plus, and save the license key. License activation and update checks send the license key, your site URL, and a site instance ID. Recipes, carts, and grocery lists are not included.
