For more than a decade, I’ve been known across the web as GrandSlambert — a creator who thrives at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and hands-on problem solving. My journey began in the WordPress ecosystem back in 2008, where I quickly found my stride as a developer who enjoys building tools that make other people’s digital lives easier. Over the years, I’ve contributed to core releases, published numerous plugins, and collaborated with clients who want websites that are both powerful and simple to manage.
As a Senior Developer at GrandSlambert, Inc., I’ve built a reputation for crafting custom themes, plugins, and solutions that help individuals and businesses get more out of WordPress. My plugin catalog spans everything from structured content Frames to Elementor-ready layouts, each designed with a focus on usability and clean functionality. I’ve always believed that good software should feel invisible — quietly doing its job so creators can focus on their own work. That philosophy guides every project I take on.
Stories Beyond the Code
But my work isn’t limited to code. Under the same name, I also write short stories across outdoor adventure, science fiction, and geek-culture themes. These stories reflect the other side of who I am: someone who loves exploring ideas, imagining new worlds, and celebrating the curiosity that drives both fiction and technology. Games and Trains
That same curiosity shows up at the table and on the workbench. I’m a lifelong tabletop board gamer — I love the shared storytelling, the systems that click into place, and the way a good game turns a group of people into a little world for an evening. Model railroading is the other hands-on half of that: planning a layout, solving tiny engineering problems, and watching a scene come to life one track, building, and detail at a time.
