MenuFrame Frequently Asked Questions

This MenuFrame Frequently Asked Questions page collects the common questions about this plugin. The short answers below match the way the plugin works on your WordPress site today.

MenuFrame Frequently Asked Questions

Read the questions in order. They cover what the plugin requires, what stays on your site, and where to ask for help. If your question is not listed, use this plugin’s WordPress.org support forum. There is no separate support site. You can also use the contact form. Name the plugin and the screen you are on.

These answers do not change the GPL license in the plugin license.txt file, and they do not replace the company terms for accounts and checkout at https://grandslambert.com/terms-of-use/. Privacy details stay on the Privacy Policy page for this plugin. This MenuFrame Frequently Asked Questions page is the short form of that same behavior. It does not add a feature the plugin does not already have. If a step on the Help page disagrees with an answer here, follow the Help page and ask through the contact form.

Where do menu items live?

Each dish is a Menu Item. The description is the post content, the photo is the featured image, and price, spice, notes, variations, and the featured flag are stored with the item. Sections, menus, and dietary tags are edited with the items. Currency and permalinks are under MenuFrame → Settings. Menu content stays on your site.

How do I show a menu?

Publish items, assign them to a menu such as Lunch, then add the MenuFrame Menu widget or [gs_menu menu=”lunch”]. List, grid, and card layouts are available. Elementor is not required for the menu items themselves.

Does MenuFrame send menu data to an outside service?

No. Menu content stays on your site. Get Plus sends only a license key and the product name when an administrator downloads MenuFrame Plus. After Plus is active, license checks send the license key, site URL, and a site instance ID. They do not include the dishes.

What does MenuFrame Plus add?

Sold-out flags, day and date schedules, per-menu prices, allergens, favorites, CSV, and print views. Saving a dish requires a logged-in WordPress user. Guests see a link to log in. Those records stay on your site. Front-end Plus features stay off without an active license. Downloading Plus does not activate it.

Where can I get help?
